What We Do

Teachers’ Prayer Breakfast

Our Kiwanis Club hosts a Teachers’ Prayer Breakfast each year. We provide a full breakfast, inspirational music and message, and pass out door prizes provided by our club and the community. This year we had about 150 teachers and administrators attend. All 5 principals from the Ponchatoula schools also attended and we recognized.

College Scholarships

Our Kiwanis club raises funds to provide college scholarships to high school seniors every year through our sales of Strawberry Festival Souvenirs. Some of those scholarships are specified for Key Clubbers while other are open to any seniors.

Key Club Sponsorships

Our Kiwanis club sponsors and supports Ponchatoula High School Key Club. We service projects, facilitate the Key Club meetings, provide mentorships and provide college scholarships for the Key Club students.

Kiwanis Builders Club Sponsor

We sponsor the Toula Cares Builders Club at Ponchatoula Junior High School.
